无冕 之王
简介
Back in the mid 1900's Mexi co was proud to have more world boxing champi ons in the small ca te gor ies, than any other Country. Boxing was perhaps one of the few opportunities where a typical low income Mexican(7 5% of th e populati on)could have success in life. Kids st arted bo xing in their ghettos, a few of th em made i t to the Pro 9;s and an even f ewer amoun t got to be famous and earn g o od money from it. Th ose th at got to the top soon found ou t that suddenly they had a g reat amo unt of people that surr ounded them an d helped the m spend th eir money. Bu t immersed in th eir new life styles they c ould ne ver leave their origin s an d find a better futur e f or th em. This is what "Campeon sin Coro na" tries to convey; a boxer that even when he h as succeeded c an not live up to his new status and p refers to be the same loser he w as in h is ea rlier yea rs. There may no t be in the Me xican Movies Industry a picture that better d isplays the way of thinking and acting of the vas t majori ty of Mexicans of the 20th Century.
